Wouldn't you agree you deserve to live the greatest life that you can?

This is truly an ideology you must choose to embody. I believe that we all are born to become the greatest version of ourselves every single day. There are 52 weeks in a year and I want to give all that I could to the time that I was given.

Allowing this to become the man that I've envisioned since I was little. Ask yourself this: What kind of life do you want to say you lived 90 years from now?

1. Whose life are you leading?

I had to ask myself this question in the beginning of 2020. I found myself getting out of another relationship feeling drained, depleted, and ignored. One thing I had to realize was that: I was allowing the situation to happen. What we need to normalize in our lives is living for ourselves and not putting others before us. A lot of the time we WANT to call it " being selfless " but at what cost? It is never a good idea to lose yourself to someone else, on your own behalf. If you've ever been in this position ask yourself, was it worth it? Only you have the answer. Be mindful of who you're willing to spend so much time with. Over the period of a year you wouldn't want to look back and be sad at the person you've become. I can promise you that.

Smiling even though it hurts on the inside.

2. Are you totally content with where you're at in your life?

I believe this question doesn't have to be hard to answer. I feel as if it's predicated upon your life experiences, friend group, and future goals and dreams. It's so easy to compare our lives to the people we see on social media. What this does is make us question our self-esteem for how we feel about ourselves. What kind of life is that to live? When you were in middle school and high school what was it that you envisioned for yourself? I think those questions our teachers used to ask us was to help us stay childlike and hungry for the possibilities we have in life. So when I ask are you completely content is because I would never want anyone to go to the grave feeling full of regrets. Create a life worth living for yourself. Having that feeling of control is essential to the reality you're creating.

3. Who are becoming?

I love asking those type of questions where it's only you who will truly have the right answer. You have to be honest with where you're currently at and where you're striving to go. One of the greatest ways to learn this is becoming more self awareness. The better you know yourself the more things you will check yourself on. It's creating a story to remember because you gave it all you had.

The type of story where you explain your past experiences in such a proud way because you worked for it. To me beating the odds is forever one of the greatest ways to push forward. And over time something you're able to build is self discipline like never before. Give it a year and you won't remember the person you are today.

Work with all that you have and reap the rewards you are sowing.
